Have hope
We really do need to encourage ourselves everyday particularly in these present times: dwindling economies, contradicting laws been enacted, conflicting views on practically every topic out there and somewhat bleak future in international relations. The world is getting more complicated by the day. It is appearing hopeless by the day but we do really should have hope.
I listen to the news everyday and it is one tragedy, sad story after the other happening in various parts of the world. And I am thinking to myself, what is going to be left of this world after we are gone and are children are grown? What sane values will be left for them to inherit and pass on to generations to come? It just seems very bleak. But I still have hope.
Hope stemming from inner strength to want to contribute my own quota to the world in whatever way possible while I still have time here; hope that others will be stirred up to be passionate about what becomes of others, hope that everyone will care enough to do something, hope that governing bodies will make better decisions and care about what becomes of those they govern.
Let us all have hope, and though there a loads of reasons to give up on today, let’s not throw in the towel just yet. Being hopeful while working hard and investing into a better life for ourselves and others will bring out the result eventually, if not now, then much later if we keep at it. Otherwise, we are simply pouring water into a basket without hope.
There abides Faith, Hope and Love. We need all three for a better world for our generations yet unborn. It is too early to give up today. Have hope.
